This paper is the first of three where the first two cover a number of interesting topics in electromagnetics and the final paper discusses the connections of relativity to electromagnetics. At present the second paper is nearly complete and the third is just begun.

Note that version 0.0 implies a first unedited version, while numbers to the right of the right of the decimal point indicate corrections and improvements that have been added. All 0.x versions should be considered beta and first official release would begin with version 1.0. Any corrections or suggestions are always welcomed.
